French-Cameroonian vocalist and songwriter Suzie Telep presents an intimate evening of original songs and inspired interpretations spanning jazz, soul, French chanson, West African, and Afro-Caribbean repertoire. Singing in French, English, Basaa, Creole, and more, she creates a vibrant cross-cultural journey of rhythm, storytelling, and connection. A former presence on the Paris jazz scene, performing at iconic venues including 38 Riv’ and Péniche Marcounet, Suzie now brings her powerful voice and a magnetic, storytelling-driven stage presence to Chicago audiences.
