The SideNotes Cabaret Series at Milwaukee‘s Sunset Playhouse presents Carolyn‘s newest singalong cabaret, HOLLYWOOD HITS, for four performances only June 5-8. This is the fifth consecutive season Carolyn has created a new show for this popular series and as always it‘s part concert, part piano bar and ALL fun. Lyric booklets are provided and YOU choose the songs (with a few well-placed solos featuring Carolyn and her band, Hannah Sternberg on bass and Michael "Ding" Lorenz on drums/percussion). If you‘ve been known to sing along to Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, "Raindrops Keep Fallin‘ On My Head" from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, "As Time Goes By" from Casablanca, "Puttin‘ On the Ritz" (Fred Astaire‘s classic version and everybody‘s favorite scene from "Young Frankenstein") and even the theme from Star Wars -- this is your show, with Carolyn and the band providing your own personal soundtrack. Thursday June 5, Friday June 6 and Saturday June 7 at 7:30 pm Sunday June 8 at 2 pm Tickets: Adults $26 Seniors (60+), Students and Military $24 Groups of 10 or more $23 https://sunsetplayhouse.com/shows/hollywood-hits/ SideNotes Cabaret Series shows are performed in the Marla Eichmann Studio Theater. Runtime is 90 minutes including a 15-minute intermission. Sunset Playhouse is located just 15 minutes west of downtown Milwaukee. There is ample free parking and easy freeway access, meaning you‘ll be back in Chicago in under 90 minutes. :)

Join us for a free concert on the shore of Lake Michigan as part of the Anderson Arts Center‘s "Music at Twilight" series. The grounds on the south lawn will open at 5:00 p.m. and the concerts will begin at 6:00 p.m. Seating is first come, first serve so bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the music along with the view of the lake. All concerts are free, drinks and food are available for purchase. Carry in of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
