Join a cast of Skokie Theatre favorites to celebrate the holidays - virtually!
Hanukkah, Christmas and seasonal music - old and new - will be featured on this streamed program on Wednesday evenings, December 9 and 16 and Saturday
evening, December 12 and 19. Show time for all four nights is 7:30 p.m.
The artists for this special presentation are vocalists: Kevin Wood, Carla Gordon,
Sarah Sapperstein, Cindy Firing and Alex Magno with Howard Pfeifer, Musical Director and Aaron Kaplan, cellist. Selections will include - “Hanukkah Miracle,” “Man With A Bag,” “The Christmas Song,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” as well comedic selections “Holiday Lament,” “Santa Claus Is Jewish” and more!
Tickets are $15 per household. You will be provided with a link to watch the show prior to the evening’s performance that you’ve selected. Tickets are available at the website - www.skokietheatre.org or by calling the box office - 847 677-7761.

Davenport's Piano Bar and Cabaret
The great thing about virtual living is that you‘ll be able to bounce from party to party on New Year‘s Eve with ease and we certainly hope you chose to join George Howe, Dan Michel and Kimberly Lawson for our NEW YEAR‘S EVE ZOOM OPEN MIC from 9:30PM to 12:30AM CST. We‘ll be ringing in the new year on East Coast time and then here in the Midwest. We will also have guest performances from your Davenport‘s favorites.
Join us as an audience member or if you like, sing us a tune, perform some standup or a Shakespearean monologue, play the tuba, tap dance, recite the Gettysburg Address, perform a comedy routine with your cat, share a slideshow of your colonoscopy, etc. The possibilities are endless.
You can accompany yourself, sing along to your own tracks, share a video of you performing or have me accompany you which is entirely possible when accounting for latency.
