" ....A breath of fresh air in this crazy world! With her generous heart, her tangible strength, and her fantastic voice, Hilary shines with a talent to share her stories with her audience… and you are always glad you are in that audience!”
~Karen Mason, Legendary Broadway and Cabaret Star
Hilary Ann Feldman has been performing and teaching in the Chicago area since 1995. As a member of the theatre community, Hilary has been a part of productions at the Ravinia Festival, Marriott’s Lincolnshire Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre Oak Brook, Drury Lane Theatre Evergreen Park, Bailiwick Repertory Theatre, Centerlight Sign and Voice Theatre, and several theatres in Wisconsin and Michigan. Her love of storytelling and her desire and ability to perform music from many different genres led her enthusiastically to the world of cabaret, where she now leads a very active performing life.
Hilary performs her solo cabaret shows regularly at Davenport 's Cabaret Room in Chicago, as well as many other local public and private venues. In addition, she performs regularly with her cabaret company, Acts Of Kindness Cabaret, to help raise money for charity (see below for more info). Hilary has also had the privilege of studying and sharing the stage with cabaret greats Andrea Marcovicci, Karen Mason, Shelly Markham, and Barry Kleinbort.
Current shows include:
“May I Suggest…”
Great old songs you know and love but didn’t know were written by women, and great new songs you’re going to love written by women you should know.
“What Was I Thinking?”
The questions, the answers, and the wacky stuff in between!
“Sojourn”
Songs that take us places.
