The form is below. Click on the Add an Event tab to begin. Your ID and password are the same as for the Members’ Area.

SUBMITTER's NAME and contact info is ESSENTIAL.

EVENT TITLE shows up first on the calendar and is also the subject line of optional email sent to fanlist, so be sure to make it specific, brief and enticing. If yours is a solo act, please include your name. "Claudette Colbert celebrates all things French" is better than "Claudette Colbert sings" or "French program".

EVENT DESCRIPTION (What It Is and How to Attend)
The calendar editor allows you formatting options. The text should include:

• A one-sentence blurb. 100 words or less, or the moderators will chop.
• In addition to your title, what keywords might a fan search to find you? Add those to your description.
• A picture is worth a 1000 words.
  To add an optional Online Image, enter its URL by clicking on the picture icon.
  Set width at the "appearance" tab to no larger than 315 pixels.
• Cost Info (including drink minimums and dinner options)
• Reservation, box office or contact info.

VENUE DETAILS: Open the Venue List (see top of this page) to cut and paste information about the most common venues. Please submit corrections and new information to venues@chicagocabaret.org to help us keep this list complete.

CANCELED?! If your appearance is being canceled, submit an event item for the date in question with a new title such as "Claudetteís show is CANCELLED". The moderators will then delete the previously announced show.

EMAIL REMINDERS: At the bottom of the form is an option to have an email of your event sent by CCPCalendar to the fanlist right away. If choosing this option, please do NOT send a notice of the same event to fanlist within the week.
